In a significant infrastructure development for the NCR region, the muchawaited DFCCIL Railway Overbridge (ROB) on the 130-Meter Road has been officially opened to traffic. The four-lane, 1.6-kilometer-long overbridge connects Tilapta and Makoda villages, providing seamless connectivity between Greater Noida and Greater Noida West.

The new overbridge eliminates delays caused by railway crossings and is expected to substantially reduce travel time for daily commuters. Residents and travelers heading towards Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Surajpur, Dadri, and surrounding areas will benefit from smoother and faster movement along this important corridor.

The project is a major step toward strengthening the region’s road infrastructure and supporting the rapid urban growth of Greater Noida. Improved accessibility is expected to enhance residential, commercial, and industrial development in nearby sectors while easing traffic congestion on existing routes.

In a significant development for public transportation in the NCR region, the revised Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed Noida Aqua Line Metro extension from Sector 51, Noida, to Greater Noida West (Char Murti Chowk) has been submitted to the Central Government for approval.

The proposed metro corridor will span approximately 8.449 kilometers and include five metro stations, aimed at enhancing connectivity between Noida and Greater Noida West. Once approved and implemented, the project is expected to provide faster, safer, and more convenient travel options for lakhs of daily commuters.

The metro extension will improve access to key Residential, commercial, and business hubs while helping reduce road congestion and dependence on private vehicles. It is also expected to support the region’s growing urban infrastructure and boost economic activity along the corridor.

In a significant boost to public transportation and sustainable mobility, operations of 100 electric buses have commenced across Noida, Greater Noida, and the Yamuna Expressway region. The initiative aims to provide safe, affordable, and environmentally friendly travel options for thousands of daily commuters.

The newly introduced e-buses will connect key destinations such as Botanical Garden, Pari Chowk, Greater Noida West, Surajpur, Jewar Airport, Ghaziabad, and Anand Vihar, improving regional connectivity and reducing travel time. Buses will operate at regular intervals of approximately 15 minutes, ensuring convenient access for residents, students, and working professionals.

To promote public transport usage, fares have been kept economical, ranging from ₹20 to ₹50. The buses are equipped with GPS-based realtime tracking systems, enabling passengers to monitor routes and schedules efficiently. The launch is expected to reduce traffic congestion, lower carbon emissions, and support the development of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable transportation network across the NCR region.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) continues to strengthen industrial development in the Noida International Airport corridor through its Industrial Plot Scheme 2026-27. The scheme offers industrial plots in strategically located sectors, attracting manufacturers, MSMEs, logistics companies, and export-oriented businesses.

With rapid infrastructure growth driven by Jewar Airport, Film City, dedicated industrial parks, and upcoming connectivity projects, the YEIDA region is emerging as one of North India's most promising industrial investment destinations. The authority has introduced transparent allotment processes and modern infrastructure to support industrial expansion and employment generation.
