Noida, Uttar Pradesh: The Noida Authority carried out a major anti-encroachment drive on 16 July 2026 in Village Jhatta, taking strict action against the illegal occupation of public land. Work Circle-10 conducted the demolition operation in coordination with the Land Records Department and the local police force.

The action targeted Khasra No. 456, where an alleged encroacher had illegally occupied approximately 22,670 square metres of Noida Authority land. The land was reportedly being developed through unauthorized boundary wall construction and plotting with the intention of illegal possession.

Using heavy machinery, the Authority removed the encroachments and reclaimed the land. Officials stated that the operation is part of Noida Authority's ongoing campaign to curb illegal land occupation and safeguard public assets.
